Firm Foundations

Participation in the cohort provides each member with access to our 8-week “Firm Foundation” classes with Dr. Mitchell (live and replay), community building and mentorship, exposure to additional subject matter experts, and opportunities for individual coaching. Important topics discussed in the “Firm Formation” course include transformative preaching, effective exegesis, pathways to vocational ministry, thinking theologically, spiritual and social influence, spiritual and mental health, and more.

Meet Dr. Mitchell

Dr. Joshua L. Mitchell is a native of Baltimore, MD and currently resides in Richmond, VA where he serves as the pastor of the historic 31^st Street Baptist Church. With two decades of ministerial experience on several church staffs and as a sought-after preacher, professor and consultant- Dr. Mitchell has a heart to equip young ministers with tools to help accelerate their effectiveness in the work of ministry.
